BCtA AND THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are commitments made by member states of the United Nations in 2000 to reduce poverty and improve the well being of their populations by 2015[i]. The BCtA seeks to accelerate progress toward the achievement of these goals by encouraging private sector investment in base of the pyramid markets.
