Who is Eligible for Membership?
To join the BCtA, companies should either develop or commit to scaling up an initiative that contributes to economic growth and poverty eradication in developing countries. Initiatives must meet basic requirements before they can be accepted as a member company. Learn more about eligibility criteria and the membership approval process.
Applying for Membership
Companies that meet membership eligibility criteria should fill out an application and return it to the BCtA Secretariat. The application form requires companies to outline the proposed initiative, describe the intended business and development outcomes, and demonstrate how the initiative links to core business operations.
Applications are reviewed and approved by the BCtA Secretariat and partner organizations. Where appropriate, the Secretariat and partners may help a company to refine its submission before approval.
